Rainbow Research Organic Herbal Shampoo Review

Only bought this because a previous reviewer said this shampoo didn't wash out the brown in her brown henna hair. She is lying. This shampoo will not work on henna brown hair, it will wash out the color immediately. I will never buy again.

I have very thick hair 1C about waist length. I recently took the chemical dye out of my hair to go back to henna and thought it would be good for the aftercare. I'm pretty sure the ingredients changed the color of my henna, which was also made by Rainbow and contained indigo. Also, it didn't lather very well and didn't cleanse the scalp enough for my liking. Oddly enough, it smells like cherry almonds, although it doesn't contain either. Just not for me.

This is a good shampoo because it cleans the hair and gives it a soft shine. The problem lies in the packaging. When I received the package, some of the contents spilled out of the bottle, messing up the box.

Pros:* Rinses hair thoroughly without removing dye (I use dark brown henna)* Smells divine - very subtle very pleasant smell* Makes my hair shiny* Smooths curls* Doesn't contain silicone which damages frizzy hair It seems damage to fix my hair ends after a previous unsuccessful attempt at highlights at home.

Many years ago I ruined my hair by coloring and straightening it with hot flat irons and curling irons. Use this with non-mineral tap water or spring water rinse - Meticulous, low-foaming formula. Now my hair looks and feels healthy.

I love this shampoo! It smells so good and has a good cleansing lather. Great shampoo as an alternative to the Lush Copperhead shampoo which I love too but can be difficult for me to buy as the stores are far from where I live and the shipping and handling of buying online is hardly worth it. I originally chose this Rainbow Research henna shampoo as an alternative to my volumizing shampoo, but I am using it as my new daily shampoo. Adds volume to my hair which says a lot as I usually have fine,

Good shampoo good price obviously real henna. Smells good. Not quite concentrated, which probably offsets the cheaper price than most henna shampoos. If you love what henna does to your hair like I do (it's been my beauty secret for 25 years!) then you'll probably love this shampoo.
