I've had it in my car for 29 days - the plastic has cracked and has deteriorated from the desert heat - also the suction power keeps increasing due to the summer heat. This nifty little gadget just doesn't work, spend the extra money and buy something better - just grateful it didn't break my phone...

It didn't work for me. I have a Note 9 in an Otterbox commuter case. I put a magnet between the phone and the case. The magnetism wasn't strong enough to hold the phone. Then I used a magnet with glue on the phone case. I wiped my case with an alcohol wipe before attaching the magnet and after 2 days it was still coming off. Not recommended for large phones.

Best Cell Phone Holder. Super strong magnet and adjustable head allow it to be attached at any angle. The retractable boom is a big plus. The suction cup is very strong, never loosened or moved. This mount holds my Galaxy S10 5G with no problem, so it can support some weight. This is a $10 bargain as I would happily pay $30. Simply put, this is the best mount.

Prepare the dashboard surface exactly as recommended and attach the bracket. After 2 minutes he fell to the ground. I tried peeling it back and putting it back on very carefully, trying to get a good seal. Same results. I believe the magnetic part works fine but the suction/adhesion never lasted long enough to figure it out. Revain's description lists my Samsung Galaxy phone as compatible, so I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

So far this car mount has worked better than any other I've tried. I use it for both my phone and my old GPS system. My only "disappointment" was that the glue on the magnet melted when my car got too hot, so the magnet fell off my phone. BUT, a drop or two of Gorilla Glue to replace the magnetic plate and I've had no other problems. It worked great. The only other very minor issue is that the positioning lever sometimes loosens and needs to be re-tightened to hold position (probably loosens…

Given to a friend. It's got a huge Samsung in a tough, waterproof Otterbox, which adds even more weight. And it ALWAYS WORKS! He said it's the best phone holder he's ever had. And so convenient to use. He is a delivery driver; many stops and crossings, many bumpy roads and railway tracks. He drives a small Kia 4-door sedan. He was clinging to the windshield with his arm outstretched. 5 stars for everything, including the price.
