I have ordered ratcheting belt buckles. Came 2 in a pack. One fits perfectly and I use it almost every day. I can't use the other one. First, the small part that fits into the adjustable holes on the back of the belt is in the wrong place. Instead of being at the front of the buckle, it's at the back, which means you have to tighten the strap (to the length of the buckle), making the strap much tighter than it needs to be. It's awkward and the buckle won't stay in the hole.

Having gone through 3 ratchet buckles that failed after 9 months I was very surprised to find this buckle has a much better design that is sure to last much longer. than the ones I've bought in the past. Now I will buy another one for my other belt and be done with my current one. Very happy with my purchase.

Button buckles are sometimes difficult to unfasten because they get stuck. And that's why I bought this product. I had to cut the belt with scissors to free myself from a stuck button buckle. This bucket is equipped with a lifting latch and is very convenient to use. I hope I can use it for a long time. I highly recommend.

First off, this is an attractive buckle that looks and feels very strong. The tilt feature (unlike the small lever on other ratchet straps) makes it much easier to use. And thanks to the simple but secure clamping mechanism, it can be easily attached to the belt. But I encountered a few problems. :one. Oddly enough, I ordered a belt for a buckle, but I was wrong about the size - I needed a wider buckle. I ordered this buckle to match the belt, it fits perfectly (this time I measured the belt). Looks great, fits perfectly and is very easy to adjust, that's the strength of the whole ratchet strap system. Highly recommended.

It was a Christmas present so I can't comment on durability. My previous buckle had a small lever to release the belt, which was very handy, but proved a weak link when the thin rod it connected to broke in half. at least last longer. I find it a little harder to get the strap to snap properly - sometimes it can go under or over the keeper rather than right through it - but that's my only minor change so far.

I can't honestly comment on the durability of these buckles but they look good and my husband loves them. His only problem was that they both used different (non-)locking mechanisms, making it difficult to get used to when he switched buckles. He decided to go back to a different brand for everyday use but keep this one for the 'good guys'.
