Fine Cassette Deck for Mobile Application

I bought this unit to replace a similar unit (different brand) that no longer works. I use it as a cassette deck in my cartridge by connecting its headphone output to the AUX input jack on my AM/FM CD audio system. I bought an inverter that fits in the cigarette lighter socket and has various voltage settings (specifically 3VDC to suit the needs of this unit) and soldered the wires to the respective positive and negative terminals in the unit's battery compartment. It works very well and allows

Terrible I didn't get what I paid for

I bought this cassette player as a gift and was very embarrassed when the person I gave it to said that half of his cassettes didn't work in the cassette player (although they worked in stereo) and also said that it very slowly started playing cassettes after a day of use. It's not as expensive as other brands, but I expected a little more for what I paid, especially since it's not a fake or unknown brand. What do you expect for this price?

Like almost everyone else, I look for a bargain when I can. I wouldn't call this player a bargain. This is sufficient in most cases. But if you want something better, you pay 4 times more, if not more. I knew it had cheap transport (only 3 buttons, no rewind), but a pleasant surprise was the auto-off type: turns off when the take-up spool stops moving, which is preferable to the type used by depends on the tape tension - the latter usually doesn't turn off when the player starts to "eat" the…

  • poorly thought out

First I will tell you why I ordered this product. I have a 15 year old player that I use to listen to all my favorite cassettes while sitting in the pool. Even after fifteen years, the sound is pleasant and clear. but the little door that opens to put the tape in fell off about six months ago. and i put some rubber bands around the player to hold it in place and it still works. I'm just tired of taking the rubber bands off every time I change a cassette. So I checked Revain to see if they still
