The driver's side lamp is new which I am considering, supposedly 8K. The bulb on the left is 6K. I can't tell the difference. I wasn't expecting a blue light but a slight blue tint around the outside of the beam. It's only white. The image with my hand on top is 6K and without it is 8K. There is no difference at night either, the new ones shine a little brighter, but that may be because they are newer. Definitely don't think they are true 8k

Terrible, from the first day I installed a pair, one only works intermittently. I have to turn the light on and off and finally it comes on. After 2 weeks it went out completely and wouldn't light up again. I like the brightness and they have a nice color but are not reliable at all. The headlights themselves are excellent. I would give 9 to 1-10. As others have said they give off a bluish tint that literally makes them look "cool", blue tinted lights are said to be cool and red tinted lights are said to be warm but so far so good. I had a blown xenon bulb in my BMW 525i and went to an auto parts store to have it replaced. The counter quoted me a price of $95. I said no thanks, and then I said I have another unknown brand that I can sell you for $48. I said ok and installed. The beam was about half as weak as on the other side and I brought it back.
