I love that you can hang this light around your neck. I don't like the battery cover. It is very light and does not hold batteries. they move out My husband had to wrap tape around it to hold the batteries. I do not recommend purchasing this item.

The light coming from the ends is very direct and creates a spotlight effect rather than diffuse light illuminating the page. I have another brand that works much better. This hurts the eyes and is not used. I liked the idea that I could use AAA batteries that I charge, but I'll go with USB rechargeable necklights.

I'm fed up with clip-on book lights that never stay on or stay on and are usually either not bright enough or too bright to be viewed comfortably. Neck and doesn't get in the way of your book, it's the perfect brightness, it adjusts exactly where you want it, and because it's facing away from you and towards the book, there are no lighting complaints! I wish I had had it many years ago!

I love this little light. At first I bought one for reading but found many more uses for it. I use it to get up in the middle of the night so I can go to the bathroom without waking my spouse. I also used it when I was helping my husband look under the hood of our car at night. I like the general hands-free flashlight. He's always by my bed so I know where he is if the power goes out, which happened about a month ago.

It was very cheap. The springs that hold the battery pack were badly soldered and made of very cheap material. It was extremely difficult to get it in position to properly hold the battery so there was power without interfering with the soldering work. The supplied battery is almost empty after a few hours of use. It doesn't cost $10. Spend a little more for the ones that can be charged via USB. I bought 3 of these with great satisfaction. Also this time I had to buy one of them.
