I'm a teacher and I prefer them to thin guides that only show one line of text at a time. This allows the student to see the entire paragraph with one line at the top as a guide for one line of readable text. Other guides cause problems because students often skip lines. Flexible plastic is strong, not cheap.

Very happy with this product. The 10 year old who uses it is happy and says it works. It's much stronger and easier to use than flimsy plastic book covers and seems to help with glare. These slides fit my 10 year old (4th grade) very well. My son is an avid reader who has not been diagnosed with dyslexia.
