easy replacement good for me

i watched a vidio on youtube on how to install. easy it would help if GM would give you another half inch of wire. Thanks for attention.

Proper fit. Much former button.

Very good fit and easy to install once the old button has been removed.however, I found the button surface to be rather stiff. This makes it necessary to press the button harder than the stock button to release the hatch.

Pros
  • Less than a minute to install and now I have the pop up rear window working again!
Cons
  • Customers may need to purchase additional components or accessories to install the switch button correctly

Rear Window Switch Button

The button on our 2011 Chevy Tahoe came off. After my hubby watched several videos on YouTube, he found the link to purchase the part on Ebay. He went with the video where you didn’t have to remove the whole panel but just pop the old switch and put in the new switch. He did say he tied a fish line to the wire connector so you don’t lose it and have to fish it out (just watch the YouTube video by Terrence the DIY’er). My hubby said it took longer getting his tools out of his shop than replacing

  • The back window open button may be located in an inconvenient position for some drivers

Received my new button and it only took about 15 minutes to remove old one and install new one. Easy to install and good value for the money. Worked as it should. Even the wife is happy now!

It was a perfect replacement for the lid switch. Seemed sturdier than the original and installed in 10 minutes Thanks for attention!

Easy install best in my review

This worked out great. It was also very easy to install. I used a flat headed screw driver and just pried the old one out from all directions. When installing the new switch, just use the screw driver for back presser and the new switch snapped right in. I was done in 5 minutes.

  • The switch button may be difficult to reach for shorter drivers or those with mobility issues
