💡 Innovative Recessed 4 Inch Scoop Baffle: Unleash the Power of 992W! Review

I put this on some of the Hue lights to create a wall blur effect. They seem to block a lot more light than I was hoping. Seems like more reflective light is needed in the baffle to increase light output.

They are not as deep as my other Halo trims so there is a large gap between my lights and the black trim so I can see the inside of the case. I think Halo should explain that, or if it's the wrong part maybe they should label their parts more intuitively.

Sold as new but you can see the mounting spring tabs have been used. And there are scratches everywhere. I need this item to match the joists I set a few years ago. I'll leave it as it's on a high ceiling and small scratches aren't visible from below. I'm just confused by the principle that a new article must be new.

It works well for lighting my fireplace, but was a little disappointing. The overlay ring matches other 4" white bezel HALO ceiling lights I have on the same ceiling which is nice for a unified look.
