The finish looks good as I expected. The biggest problem was installing this fairing, the edges are very sharp as other people have mentioned. This makes installation extremely difficult. I would suggest you try this with gloves on if you can.

I bought these for our cabin as they dim the light a little and keep the room from being glare. I was about to spend a lot more at the big chain stores when I stumbled upon them. I gave them a chance and am very impressed. Very good quality and very easy to assemble yourself. Now I have bought 2 more suitcases as we will be doing our whole house and the rest of the cabin. You will not regret it!

I have satin nickel in light switches, doorknobs, cabinet pulls etc throughout my house. I also have some satin nickel baffles, crown molding and floor registers. The color of this product is NOT satin nickel. It is brushed nickel! The edges of the product are very sharp. We started putting them on and stopped. I threw them in the trash. Spend $17 each for a quality partition and finish. It was disappointing.

Bought these to add some flair to the plain white recessed boxes in various ceiling lights in our house. I have to say they were pretty easy to install in the original tins (once you get the hang of it) and now our ceiling lights stand out and look pretty snazzy. I have the standard 6 in ceiling glasses. Not sure about the brand but they have used Juno deflectors before and they have been good. I bought these slats as a replacement and upgrade. Unfortunately they don't lie flat on the ceiling - there is a distance of approx. 1/4 between the ring and the ceiling. I was a bit skeptical. I hoped they wouldn't be flimsy like some stores. It was very nice! The finish was really good; The color has a slight shimmer. They will look perfect on our new antique bronze pressed pewter ceiling during our renovation. I also ordered 24 of these in white to replace the spooky/discolored ones in our new (to us) house.
