The one I got was good!

Leaving a review so people know this is a legitimate product (at least the one I got). Didn't do any extensive testing or anything but this seemed to fix the issues I was having on my SP with a dead batteryUpdate:So far battery life isn’t bad! After an initial full charge, I played a little Pokémon TCG (GameBoy Color game) here and there and I was also able to just about get through the entirety of Metroid Fusion (3 hour play time) before the red light came on. I didn’t wanna run until I died…

The PERFECT and Better Replacement

This got here its affordable, and it works like brand new when I first got my GBA SP but better. The original SP battery was 600 mah, this is 850 mah, this last longer than the original battery. And can go for 6-8 hours of gameplay (depending on how much volume you use). I love it and if you have a GBA SP and it needs a new battery come get this one.

Was dead on arrival

I had to through it in the recycling bin because it was dead on arrival (battery was bulging) and I didn't want to risk it blowing up in my face. Not recommended as a replacement.

ITEM NOT AS DESCRIBED

I did not receive the tool that is supposed to come with this battery, it clearly describes that it’s included. The screw is very tiny so it’s no wonder I can’t find a small enough screwdriver around the house which is why I purchased this set. Extremely disappointing. if I wanted to go out and purchase the tool myself I would have gone out and purchased the battery as well and not have given any business here.

Not 850mAh for my opinion

Absolutely not an 850mAh battery. Lasts less than an hour on modded GBA, even less time than the 20 year old OEM 600mAh battery.

Waste of money - my new review

You can't charge it for 12 hours as recommended by sellers. Charge doesn't last, no better than my 20 year battery that came with the gameboy, sorry I can not recommend.

Its Alive! Alive! for my opinion

Had an old GBA SP sitting in my desk gathering dust, ordered this and a flash cart and its like new again! Will probably be ordering a new screen as the original screen is fairly dim. But no issues with the new battery!

I bought this a few months ago to put in a gameboy i bought on ebay and so far its held a charge just as well as my other gba that still has its original battery, I can get at least 5 hours but ive never really tested it.

Easy to install: my feedback

This replacement battery works perfectly and was super easy to install. My SP now charges quickly and stays charged for hours of play. Perfect for anyone trying to refurbish an old Gameboy SP.
