I can't believe how useful this product is. I bought it because I was expecting something that just sticks and doesn't move. However, the fact that it has a magnet on the back means you can attach it to almost any surface that has iron or metal on it! It is currently hanging on the wall but can be moved anywhere. WARNING: There is thin plastic on the back of the flashlight that looks like cling film. This presumably prevents the light from maintaining a tight magnetic bond and causes light to fall off the magnetic stripe. Be sure to delete them. I installed them under cabinets where there was no light and they work as expected. Motion detection is 80% effective in most cases. It depends on the device. After stopping the movement, the time during which it remains on is very short - 20 seconds. I wish there was a setting like cameras do where you can choose 1 minute, 5 minutes or 10 minutes for how long it stays on after the last motion is detected.
