Recycle Symbol Sign Protected Weatherproof Review

After trying this product, I was disappointed with its durability. Despite being marketed as protected and weatherproof, it did not hold up well in industrial and scientific settings. The sign quickly became faded and difficult to read due to exposure to sun and rain.

This is a huge improvement over my old "Recycle" decal. The metal is very hard. I used zip ties to attach it to the laundry basket I use as a hamper and it hasn't bent. It has a durable feel and is easy to keep clean and reuse if I ever move to a new bin.

After reading so many negative reviews about 'recycled' nameplates I decided to buy this metal sign which will stand up to inclement weather and some abuse. I had to drill holes in the front of my large 64 gallon plastic wheeled cart (made by TOTE) to attach this metal sign using small bolts, washers and nuts. It's holding up well and I think it will withstand the huge handles of a recovery truck lifting it up and tipping it into the truck's compression hopper. Garbage can. Let's see how well…
