This deodorant does a good job of eliminating unpleasant odors in the fridge. It has a strong smell when you first open it, but it doesn't stink when put in the fridge.

This product works very well and I know I sound surprised but I... considering the package is quite small I wasn't sure how well it would work with my really big fridge would. This is a thin fridge deodorant that attaches to the side wall with a round piece of double sided tape. I struggle with fridge smells because my husband throws things in the fridge without a lid. I applied this after a particularly spicy sausage and pickle. This product did a good job of eliminating odors in the main compartment. This is a single use product so I don't know how long it will last. It works better than baking soda. I don't like throwing away the nature of it but it did the job.

Update; The banana you see in my photo was there for a few days and didn't turn brown as usual. I attached it to the back of the fridge from above. I really didn't know where to put it and had no idea if it was worth it or not. I thought it was a lot more expensive than baking soda so let's see what it does. I had a small painted wood cabinet with a bad smell of rotting food, although the bad food never touched or oozed the cabinet itself. I thoroughly cleaned and washed the cabinet and the smell was reduced but remained. I attached one of these deodorants to the inside of the closet using the sticker that came with it.
