I think the mesh needs to be further strengthened in these areas to make it stick better. That would be great, but it's not for everyday use. In theory this is a great product but it doesn't stand up to normal use. After 2.5 months of regular daily use, one of the plastic connectors that allow the metal bars on the playground floor to slide apart broke in half. I contacted the manufacturer and was told that this was due to improper use of the locking mechanism. This was not the case. I opened the play area fully and then closed the grid every time. The product is absolutely perfect. I was initially nervous about buying it as I couldn't find a deluxe size pen mat and this combo anywhere. I thought it would be cheaper than buying a small one so the game was worth it. I'm so glad I did. It's absolutely perfect. The size is amazing. Lots of space for the little ones to play and crawl. It is easy to install and fold. The mat zips to the base of the playpen so you don't have to worry about it moving or anything getting underneath. The zipper is
