About twice as effective as expected.

I've had stuff like this before that worked a lot better and was a little faster. It doesn't make things as smooth as I expected. But it's definitely better than nothing! The included nail files are very good. Actually better than a foot file.

Softens rough spots

Great for thick heels. It also has an amazing utility - you can use it to gently smooth the sharp edges of scabs - sounds very odd, but if you have someone who enjoys tugging at it, annoyed by the bumps in the ingrown skin, it will file down easily Trim off the edges so they can stop drawing attention and the person can stop poking around and actually give them time to heal. It's big business

Not a fan of beauty and personal care

Both the nail file and the file are of not very good quality. The leg file lies permanently in the hand. Other than that, it's really not good.

Comfortable to hold, sharp, comes with two glass files (read: tweezers)

This file is comfortable to hold, but because the handle is very rounded it may not be comfortable for small hands. The file is sharp and I like that it cuts and smoothes at the same time. This is a big improvement over the cheese grater. It comes in a nice box sealed with a small sticker. It's a nice touch. The rasp comes with two small glass nail files. Double-ended nail files are not only good for straightening nails, but also for sharpening tweezers! If you have tweezers that don't "grab"…
