Works great on steel

My family and business recommend using this wax on our steel products. I've recently been getting more of our products and decided to grab a jar (both to show visitors what it looks like and to use in my own work). We tested it for carbon steel protection and it works very well and is so easy to put on. Highly recommended.

Pros
  • Polishing and wood care
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Great guitar polish

I bought this on the recommendation of Jerry Rosa (Rosa String Works You Tube Channel). I polish my guitar decks with it. You have to be careful to do small sections at a time, and this material hardens almost instantly, so waiting means more polishing work. Appears to be very durable and silicone is not recommended for finishing guitars. Not cheap, but it doesn't take much to get the job done.

Pros
  • Household item
Cons
  • Makes me angry

I like it when a product actually delivers what it promises.

I have a collection of beautiful damask knives in a variety of styles that seems to be growing all the time. , as collections of things usually do. Because Damascus steel knife blades are made from high and low to medium carbon steels, they are more susceptible to rust or even corrosion if the wrong steels are used. I apply a thin coat of Renaissance wax to each damask knife blade to give it a protective layer of wax, then wipe it off with a soft cloth before it dries and hardens on the blade…

Pros
  • Wood polishes, waxes and oils
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than other pickaxes
