My 2.5 year old wears 3T pajamas and they are quite small compared to others I have in this size. She is average height so she should have fitted better. Maybe just lucky sewing. I recommend increasing the size.

I love these pajamas. I bought size 12 months for my 9 month old daughter and they are so soft and she looks so cute in them.
