Good for intermediate base lava lamps

Works well, lava heats up well. I have the feeling that the lava heats up faster than with bulbs in the form of a sphere, but I have to admit that I didn't take precise measurements.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Some cons

Doesn't work with my 14.5 inch lava lamp

They're very bright and I like the flat design, but after waiting 3 days the lava bubble in my lamp hasn't moved. It is hot enough to soften the wax and form a bubble, but the heat seems so evenly distributed that it cannot produce the reaction necessary for the lava to flow. A good product; wrong performance/design(?).

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • So-so

Old Memories Made New

Place this in my green spark lamp that I won at the high school slot machine. An emotional rollercoaster of winning centered on my room, the warehouse, my new home to find out 10 years later the lightbulb has gone out. I was so happy to find him again on a recent move. These lights fit perfectly and my shiny green lamp is working again!

Pros
  • Prize
Cons
  • Socket Required

They work and stay strong!

I have finally found a reliable and long lasting bulb for my small glittering lava lamp that does NOT overheat the light and does not combine ALL the sparkles at the tip after only a few hours. So far I've worn it for a maximum of 8 hours and the glitter continues to circulate and cast patterns on the wall and ceiling - 4 hours longer than the Walmart Special and Home Improvement Superstore bulbs I've bought. , and last much longer than traditional lamps recommended by lava lamps.

Pros
  • Quality Construction
Cons
  • Some Issues

What aging hippie doesn't have a lava lamp or two?

I love the lava lamps that adorn the high shelf above my living room. From time to time the lights go out. I've had two of the longest time. I bought this set of 4 and replaced two burned out ones (they fit perfectly btw) and now I have two spares in case I lose another one just before a karaoke party. Goodbye. I would buy them again.

Pros
  • Cool product
Cons
  • Something different

Bring "Ah " back to my lava lamp!

I am not sure if the previous bulb has burned out and we are replacing it with a suitable suboptimal bulb for the lamp. Despite this, the lava "flows" smoothly from top to bottom, as expected. I bought these lamps as they were slightly higher wattage (25 instead of 20) and had a bottom reflector to direct more heat to the bottom of the lava lamp. Everything works like clockwork again. So if your lava lamp tends to be acidic lava, get some of these and see if that's just what your molten spirit…

Pros
  • Brings joy
Cons
  • Legacy Model
