These bulbs are pretty decent but the plastic cap will start to yellow if left unused for a long period of time. The lamp on the left has been used outdoors for about 7 months and you can see that it has slightly yellowed compared to brand new. Any bulbs I installed will still work, which is a plus, but I recommend using these bulbs in a shaded area where they won't get as much UV exposure.

These bulbs are just what I need.
