Insignia Roku TV Model Year 2016-2019 Replacement Remote (Model Number Ending in 16, 17, 18 or 19) Review

I have an Insignia TV with Roku built in, model number NS-39DR510NA17. This remote just doesn't work. I tried different batteries; Tried turning the TV off and on. this remote control does not work. Not sure what all the other reviews are about but will buy elsewhere. I am now looking for a refund or I need to contact my credit card company. Don't waste your time and money!

I have returned this remote control. While this remote control is cheap, it is essentially junk. It is very light compared to the manufacturer's remote control and does not respond to button presses at all. We often have to press the same button 6 or 7 times for the TV to respond (this can be very annoying when pausing/resuming!) While it works on a basic level, it was too difficult!

I am so glad the seller made these remotes available for shipping shortly after I placed my order! The remote control works right out of the box, all you have to do is insert batteries and turn on the TV. The buttons are a bit stiff compared to the original remote that came with the TV, but that's a small issue. Please note that this remote control was designed for Insignia TVs and not a standalone Roku box. I suspect the reviews that mention this didn't work are trying to use this exclusively…

Not sure about all the negative reviews. I seriously wonder if you ordered the correct remote control for your TV. If you match the serial number with the remote you shouldn't have any problems. I know several people who have ordered them. One didn't work - but the wrong remote control was ordered. It was returned for the correct console and was an instant hit. It looks and feels almost exactly like the original remote that came with my 55" Insignia Roku TV. Didn't have to do anything to get it working with my TV other than put in batteries. My original remote was beyond repair after falling on a hard floor many times (lost count), volume button didn't work. this remote control does exactly what it says on the tin. Once I put the batteries in, I turned on the TV, which I had somehow lost the remote from, and everything worked like clockwork. Does not work. The battery springs are not fixed, the batteries fall out immediately. The remote control itself does not work with my TV, which is one of the models specifically listed as supported.
