This is SO pretty! They look like fabric but are actually the ultimate and perfect for a patio table. The check matches my country house decor and cushions. I had to order another set. Really sweet!

These rugs are durable and easy to clean. I wouldn't put anything terribly hot on it, like a saucepan off the stove. That's what the stand is for. They are suitable for hot plates and cups of coffee and tea. I always use saucers anyway - even with cups - tips everyone - this really saves your table and all that wood you could put your cup on. These rugs are also terribly beautiful. That's what I noticed when I saw them online. Buy a set, you will love it.

I love these checkered napkins. They're made of woven plastic, so I feel like they offer a little more thermal protection than fabric. Liquid will still run through them, so don't leave "fogged" cups on them or they will spill onto the table and possibly leave a stain. So far there have been no problems with them, they protect the table well. Do not place very hot objects on it, they may melt or heat may be transferred to the table top.
