It contains persulfates (potassium peroxymonosulfate). So if that's important to you, don't read the rest of the review. I personally don't have a problem, but some people dismiss this as an ingredient. The ingredients aren't listed in the Revain ad, so I'm taking a star for that. The ingredients must be listed. Clean Retainer - Cleaner

Individually wrapped tablets are easy to use. You drop the pill in a cup of water and let the fixative soak in. I only wear a retainer at night so I soak it during the day. When I'm ready to put it back in before bed, the retainer is clean and crisp with a subtle minty flavor. The product is made in China and contains many chemicals that I am personally unfamiliar with.

Excellent oral care concept

So the concept is there and following the directions I put my fixative in water and put the pills in it started bubbling but after leaving it in the water overnight and taking out the fixatives , they still look the same with the same extension. It really cleaned them up, I'm better off using a toothbrush and toothpaste.

It looks clean but leaves a film.

I have an Invisalign retainer and this type of product is recommended for cleaning. It seems to work but leaves a film that I have to wipe off with a cotton swab (I shouldn't use a toothbrush on this retainer as it can scratch it). While I'm glad it sanitizes and creates bubbles, I wish there was a better way to rinse the product out of the cleaner.
