I washed this duvet cover before putting the duvet inside. It seemed like a good idea. However, it didn't hold up well in the wash. When I tried to put my blanket in, the ropes that were supposed to be attached to the corners of the blanket broke. Without this attachment, it is impossible to keep the duvet in the duvet cover. I was very disappointed as the case is very nice and soft. To return.

I really like this set. Doesn't wrinkle, dog hair won't stick to it. You can just shake it off and you're good. I love the colors and the feel of the fabric. I have purple king size. Many of the reviews mention the awful smell upon arrival and that it's made of thin and fragile material. So I was a little apprehensive when deciding to buy this one.
