I ordered this sunscreen because I am postmenopausal and have very dry skin. I have very light freckles and I burn easily in the sun. Also, I'm 70 years old and have very thin skin. For me personally, this product does not have a sufficiently prominent moisturizer to be classified as such. The color of the tint is a bit dark for me. My 1st and 2nd purchase were in reg. And was quite heavy/greasy for me but the coverage was amazing.! (I'm 67) then someone advised me to buy a mat and use both together. So I did. I put some of both in the palm of my hand, shake it up and apply it. That works great! I know it's so expensive but it lasts 9 months. So I think this aligns $wise. I even apply a moisturizer before applying. Make-up lasts all day and into the evening without touch-ups.

Really impressive product. I have oily skin and the mattifying ingredients in Intellishade Matte really work! I was blown away that I didn't have to use blotting paper all day like I usually do. Plus, my skin became matte without looking dry or flaky! I have fair skin tone and the shade suits me perfectly. This is my new Holy Grail all in one product. I finished a tube of regular Intellishade and decided to try the 'matte' version. This is a completely different composition that is poorly distributed. It hardens, shifts, sticks together, and usually acts like a quick setting wax. I can't smooth it down fast enough because it practically rubs off as I apply it. I've tried various serums and moisturizers underneath and nothing gives a good foundation. It was a huge waste of money and I wish I had strayed from a product that worked great.

The idea of combining a mattifying effect with a tinted moisturizer with SPF seemed brilliant! However, all of the ingredients/properties that Revision added to the recipe for the matte version of their "Intellishade" line had an adverse effect, at least for me personally. I have tried a pea sized amount and also a large amount on my skin (repeatedly and over 3-4 weeks) and have never been able to apply this moisturizer easily.
