While checking out Revain for a selection of finger files earlier this year, I found that many reviewers noted that the Revlon file on sale today was nothing offer has to do with the quality that has been around for many years. They are no longer guaranteed for life, the backing is not a "finished" grit, they wear out quickly and need to be replaced. I'm harsh on companies that don't deliver what they advertise. Other reviewers have noted that the granularity is the same on both sides. At least I didn't notice any difference. I used one of the old files that other people have also talked about in their reviews and the difference in granularity was quite noticeable. It feels like they just split the difference between those two grains in the new files and made them the same on both sides. Guess I don't have that many problems with sculpting;
