Should have read other reviews. Although my kids live with it, it only has a weak echo and isn't durable at all (broken when my 1 year old dropped it on the floor for the first time, we were able to put it back together). I'd say you get what you pay for, but I've seen dollar store versions perform a lot better than this. Save money and buy another.

Very inexpensive toy microphone for our youngest. It's funny that I even thought to say something about this little microphone. In the past I have bought the same mic for our other kids and it amplifies their voices, not like a real mic but like a toy mic. However, it appears to be a poor design and when you speak to it, it muffles almost all sounds.

I knew it wouldn't be the best quality for the price but it doesn't reverberate and doesn't look like it actually works like the ones I've seen Before. The plastic is very cheap and flexible for the microphone base. The little black plastic cord on the bottom has actually come loose and may come out. appeared to be a choking hazard if not properly secured. Conclusion: Very cheap plastic, even for this price. and doesn't work unless you're expecting a fake that doesn't resonate at all.

Super cheap. The Echo isn't as good as I remember it being, but for the price you can't go wrong. My daughter really liked this item and took it to kindergarten. This prompted the nursery to buy a whole pack of these because the kids kept trying to take it away from her. The photo does not show the small vinyl "wire" hanging from below. Bought for our 2 year old son on the recommendation of our speech therapist. The mic was a muted pink-purple, so it wasn't as cool as the neon yellow and orange in the photo, but at least they warn that colors can vary. Echo. If you look inside (cheap, in my opinion) plastic houses, you'll see a thin plastic cone inside that's supposed to create an echo.
