Dressbarn Halterneck Metallic Women's Gown with Thigh Split Review

I love this dress! I didn't want a long dress for my friends and daughters at a wedding this fall. With slit and ankle length just right!

This gorgeous dress looks way more expensive than its price. The only problem is that it is very long for a 5'5" woman. And it cost me $50 to hem it because there is so much fabric.

I like this dress. I found it at a department store but didn't want to pay $100. Found it much cheaper here! I had to redo the arms and length. I didn't want to wear the typical mother of the bride dress! It matched my daughter's colors perfectly - maroon and gold.

The same dress was on David's wedding dress but it cost $110.02 and after the horrible experience I just took a picture of the sales number on the tag and wrote it in . and it was 1/3 the cost! The dresses arrived and they were all the same color and exactly the same clothes as there. Perfect when you need a cheap bridesmaid dress! I did this. I love this dress!

The dress is excellent. I wear 12 and ordered 12. I liked that it looks like a long dress but could be ankle length as it has a low slit on the thigh. This is a built in bra which was great. I liked how I looked from the front but then found I looked fat from the side. I'm not sure my husband likes it but it made me feel proud to stand next to my son at his wedding. Strappy neckline conceals underarm pleats.

This dress is very light and has sparkling threads in good tones (but no real shine). I usually have 6 or 8 petite sizes. I ordered 6 normal ones. This cut accentuates the bust - this size fits me well but needs to be tucked in at the bust and hem (I always need a hem). The color didn't suit me and the dress I received had a few patches that were sewn on incorrectly and wrinkled too much.
