Roadmaster 0482 048 2 Hi Low Hitch Review

Arrived quickly, very strong and well made. Worked perfectly for our intended use, lengthened and lowered our RV's towing position.

Strong steel and very heavy. Took this for a Jeep Wrangler because of the large spare. Used to extend bike carrier for Thule tow bar. A less powerful extension could probably be used, but the extension halves the carrying weight. A small spacer may be needed as there is some play, but the stand is fairly stable.

Augers as described and are a must for towing a car when a towbar is fitted over a motor home. In my setup, the RV and hitch were flush with each other. The tow beam sagged in the middle. When I used this receiver hitch to lift an RV, towing my 2014 Silverado became much easier and with less sway.
