I've never had a pad with sewn edges but I can say this is a welcome change, it really makes it stand out. The pad isn't super "slippery" which means it has a bit of drag, which I really like. It feels like I have more control over where my cursor is. It's more than I expected, but that's because I didn't measure anything before ordering. This mouse pad doesn't pick up the Kone EMP sensor like I was hoping. I wish them still mass-produced Alumic. This interface was the best! This mat is nice and thick and works well for non-competitive play. I recently noticed that the EMP mouse jumps. I put the alum down and to my surprise realized what I was about to give up. There probably can't be a better of both worlds, ie high DPI with a thick and comfortable padding.

The cloth surface of this mouse pad is awesome, but there are issues. The "non-slip" backing is not as advertised. However, the real problems come with people who intend to use the entire mouse pad. The braided edges can present some issues when approaching, but the real stumbling block for me has always been the giant Roccat logo in the lower right corner. The logo is another rubbery, melting texture that visibly compresses your mouse and slows you down, which effectively means you can't use…

All the problems with this product are linked to one thing. They used a cheap material on the bottom that doesn't provide good traction. The mouse pad moves constantly and frankly takes away from the premium quality it looks like. You need to get back to the drawing board because there are way better and cheaper options that haven't made that mistake. I would not recommend this product, especially for a gamer where every little thing counts.

This is my second purchase of a gaming mouse pad. I still use my first one for my gaming pc but needed another for my budget gaming pc. There is no gray hair on the first one I've had for over a year. The surface and texture is perfect for FPS, TPS and fast gaming (Overwatch, PUBG, Division 2). The bottom handle holds the mat in place without movement. My favorite and voted as one of the best playmats on the web. The blue trim also matches my RGB. Will definitely buy again.

Definitely the best rug I have ever owned. Before that, I only had experience with ultra-smooth cloth, ABS, and metal mousepads. I hate the feel/sound of my mouse's plastic feet sliding on hard surfaces (ABS plastic and metal pads), but I wanted my cloth pads to be more controllable. I think it's a great product. It's large for a regular mouse pad (probably about 25% larger than the regular mouse pad I had), but it's designed to give you more support with your hand when moving around the mouse. i used mine half price and it's literally like new so it was amazing. Pros: Very thick and durable decent sized gasket. Cons: Doesn't hold up as smoothly as advertised. It can be hard to see in the picture, but even after trying to straighten it and a month of use, it's still wrinkled. This makes it easy to squeeze and slide while playing on my worn old table.
