GAME CHANGE: Accessories

Where have they been all my life?! These are by far the best mounts I have ever used on my bike! I will never use straps or bungee again. 2 Rok Straps attached my bag to the rack better than any knot! This is a must for any biker undertaking a journey of any length. They are very strong and hold on!

Unbeatable, good for motorcycles and weight training

This was nothing new for me, I have bought these straps several times (I own several motorcycles). The straps do deteriorate when left in the sun but that happens over a long period of time and I don't see that as a disadvantage. As for using straps, this is the best thing to attach to a motorcycle, very quick and easy to use, very durable. Get the kit, you won't regret it.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • So far so good

Functional and durable

I like the functionality of these straps because they don't hang around like traditional straps because they are elastic. Other types of bungees are round, they are one inch wide so the pressure is distributed over the attached items. I use them on carbon fiber canoes that are carried on roof racks and travel at 80 km/h on the road. They don't dangle or dangle like regular straps, nor is there a metal buckle to scratch the canoe.

  • This is amazing

Almost eliminates the need for regular elastic cords

Simply put, these ROK harnesses work. I have both a wider and a thinner version. A few of each and I can pretty much haul anything on my bike. When adding Saddleman luggage to the back of the bike I had to add some elastic cords to keep it strong. Now with the ROK straps I use two straps on the main bag that I put on the back seat and two smaller straps on the sea bag that mounts on the C-pillar. If everything is tight, everything is secure and will not move. Installation takes just a few…

Sturdy and comfortable straps!

I have a Yamaha FZ8 motorcycle with no storage. My colleague told me to try these belts. Since I was driving from Houston to Austin to watch MotoGP races and didn't want to get behind the wheel, I decided to give it a try. I criss-crossed two of these in my duffel bag, which gave me enough luggage space for a long weekend of driving through Austin, Grune and back to Houston. In all, I've cycled about 1,000 miles and my bag hasn't budged. At first I was very nervous that the bag would fall, but…

Far's Best Tie Downs

> Buy them once to see how much better they are than any other motorcycle tie down and you'll never want to use anything else. > Sure, you can do a lot of these Buy bungee for what you pay for just a pair of ROKs, but I don't think you'll find that bungee holds up a little better on every surface. You're naming how much tension you want with the ROK adjustability and elastics need sections. You can't do that with rubber bungees with their metal hooks that scratch paint and chrome. on if…

Strap configuration

I have asked questions about these straps but have not received any meaningful answers. Maybe I asked the wrong questions. Maybe that answers similar questions. As in the photo, there are four pieces for two straps and SIX loops! The non-adjustable women's strap is an elastic side short strap measuring approximately 15 inches in length. The men's side consists of ONE side men's buckle, a longer strap with a loop on BOTH ends. BUT only one loop is big. enough to thread the side buckle. Never…

They are great for what they are

I bought them all black in both sizes. I ride a cargo bike with a huge flat open basket. I carry a lot of stuff and I'm tired of playing with bungee cords. They're great for what they are. They're enough to keep things in place, and still let you adjust the compression. You can use them in any scenario where you would use a traditional bungee cord. The best part is that they have a loop with no hook at the end, so you can secure them without tying a knot. I plan to use D-ring carabiners on the…

This is what you need to attach a backpack to a motorcycle sissy bar.

I have used elastic cords and compression straps to attach bags to my bike for years. After the full loop compression strap snapped while attaching my bag to my sissy bar and I couldn't find the perfect length bungee cord, I got frustrated and started looking for a better option to replace it. I quickly discovered Rock Straps and immediately ordered a few sets. I've ordered this and a shorter (12-42") set. This set is much wider and definitely designed for a heavy load like a jam-packed gym…
