Shoes look and fit just as I expected. I tried on a pair in the store and I usually wear a 10, but I really liked the 10-1/2 fit in these shoes. The store didn't have the color and style in that size so I went to Revain. They felt comfortable on my first day of wearing them. The only odd thing is that the transition from the heel to the front of the shoe seems to be under the arch of the foot, which seemed weird at first but quickly got used to it. Great fit. Great looks. A great feeling. They seem well made when I look at my new pair. I already have an old pair of Ropers in a slightly different style and they have served me well for a number of years now. I also look forward to wearing them for a long time. They look great with jeans of any color, khakis or long pants.

First of all the shoes are very comfortable and if you have a wide foot they are ideal in that sense. Although they are visually a bit chunky, the many padding around the ankle in combination with the wide profile make them look like moon boots. I was hoping for a look that would allow me to wear them to the office and to work sites, but they really don't belong in the office, just out in the field.
