I used this on a backpacking trip recently and it went really well! The straw didn't leak, which bothered me. The backpack's waist strap is tiny, but it fastens securely when only the top strap is fastened. The water port is a bit fiddly to screw in, but overall a cheap alternative to the camelback.

I was looking for a small, basic hydration pack that's easy to fill, doesn't leak, and has few pockets. It ticked every box. With a full bladder, the only bag contained a fan, hand wipes, hand sanitizer and extra socks. In some places I glued pashmina there. I used the mesh section that slides out from the bottom (to attach helmets) to wear pants I bought during the day. Security liked the bag too, took them a few seconds to check it. Was light and comfortable to wear all day

To be honest, for a hydrator at this price, that's amazing! I used it for a 3 day event and had no problems with it. It is very light when stuffed and carried on the back, it has adjustable straps that can be fastened for extra security if needed. There is enough space in the backpack for little things; small wallet, phone, phone charger, keys etc. I used mesh to hold my blanket which helped a lot and freed my hands. I love it! You can just buy another one in a different color!

My son loves it. He is 13 years old and it suits him. Easy to drink, water stays cool. We put ice in the water and it helps. Happy we bought for him.
