Perfect fit for my used 2012 13 " MBP.

Bought a used 2012 13" MBP and brought it home to find it was missing all but 4 screws. On the On the plus side memory and hard drive upgrades are much faster!I ordered this kit which arrived today and all the screws fit perfectly. For $4 it's great to be able to tightly seal the bottom of the MBP to prevent the accumulation of Minimize dust, dog hair, cat hair, etc. INSIDE the case Very happy.

  • Great for me

Fits 2012 15 " non-Retina MBP A1286

The smaller screws are actually too long for my 2012 15" non-Retina MBP. It simply means that they are just about flush with the body. My point is that in the original bolt set, some bolts were about 0.5mm (or less) shorter than others. Maybe that was the problem. It doesn't bother me and the screws worked fine. Apple is about aesthetics, not functionality and protecting users from their devices.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Negative present

The case screw eventually fell out and was never seen again. The replacement screw is not really Apple quality, but holds the case together securely. The metal may not be as strong, the screw head is a bit smaller so you can see the difference if you look closely. The threads were matched, and the length of the screw was such that the head fell into the recess and didn't accidentally scratch the surface. Faster shipping is also welcome. Be careful with them. They don't appear to be as strong as

Pros
  • Sleek design

  • Disappearance

This is slightly softer metal than the factory ones that were still on my 2010 13" Macbook Pro. If you look closely, you'll see that they're made of a different material and softer metal than standard stainless steel. However, I am more than satisfied with the price and the fast delivery. For some reason I was missing about three small screws on the bottom of my computer and I wanted to make sure these holes didn't let any dust/dirt in. These screws meet all the requirements and the threads…

Screws fit my MBP 9.2 (Mid 2012, non-Retina) unibody case (below) like a glove. The Phillips drive in each screw has been perfectly formed and fully threaded. No cross threads and no issues with my screwdriver slipping out of the fitting or ripping off the head - [Note: if screws are tightened to the head strip point, aluminum (soft metal) threads will almost certainly snap. ) It's a work in progress - don't over tighten whatever bolt set you buy. Inexpensive yet high quality screw set for the…
