The belt is thicker and wider than similar belts I've used in the past, which works in its favor. It's durable, feels "sturdy" and does the job of keeping my pants where they need to be! Almost perfect, the only "problem" is that the strap was a bit longer than I expected. I have a 38" waist (approx) and I estimate this belt fits waist sizes up to 42" easily.

Heavy Duty Basic Belt with D-Ring. I'm allergic to nickel and most belts give me a horrible rash on my stomach where the buckle rubs. I don't know if the rings are stainless steel but those bands don't bother me, I bought four of them.

Hood made of high quality and durable material. You can crop to fit if it is too big for my husband. Simply cut with scissors and lightly singe the cut end with a lighter and it will not fluff or unravel. Great all purpose belt.

Although the belt is what I ordered and will do the trick; I want the width to be specified. It's too wide for some of my belt loops. The length was perfect despite being made from durable materials. My last D-ring belt was thrown away because one of the rings broke in half. The metal rings and the thickness of the braid speak for a quality product.
