Beautiful but DIFFICULT

Was difficult to assemble. Overtighten the screws that attach the metal brackets to the arc glass or the glass may break! I recommend placing heavy objects (books) on top of it when tightening the screws so it stays flat on the floor. Glass won. do not close, so do not put anything inside that could leak. I filled mine with Michael's flower garlands and they are beautiful!

It will break and you will not receive a refund

Update January 10, 2020: My friend told me that two panes of glass broke when she and her friend were putting the table together. Now the $100 thing is completely useless. I am incredibly ashamed. The company that sells this table refuses to refund the money. It's horrible to work with them. ------ Original Review: I bought this table as a gift. On the outside of the box was the name and image of the product. So keep that in mind if you're buying this as a gift for someone you live with. I will

DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM!

What a great idea! NO. The first one I received had a broken piece so it was quickly replaced with another unit. Unfortunately, a piece of this one broke off, but I was able to put the parts back together. However, the rounded pieces of glass do NOT match the device. I have swapped parts from both shipments to no avail. Curved pieces of glass are not bent to fit. I even tried turning some of them upside down but it didn't work. If they can't line up, you won't be able to screw in the supportโ€ฆ

If you want to spend the day in despair and swearing, buy this table

This table sucks. It's cheap, wobbly, and impossible to assemble. The first problem I had was that it came with no instructions. Luckily, some people added photos of instructions to their reviews so I could find them. Second, the bent parts don't fit. I'm not new to making things and I couldn't put it together. Three intelligent people have tried to put this thing together to no avail. I'm pretty sure the curved parts just weren't cut properly. So we just gave up and threw away the curved parts

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • Not everything fits

Uneven windows, easy instructions

Very easy assembly, looks solid and elegant. Easy to read instructions with pictures after each step to show you how it should look. However, the windows that open around the perimeter of the rounded top do not match. I undid all of the screws and finally took it apart and remade everything to make sure it wasn't operator error and they still didn't fit together. Of course I didn't want to wrap it up and send it back, but I have to. This is a nightmare because styrofoam is a very cheap andโ€ฆ

Tips for setting up Side tables

I bought 2 tables together. They are really beautiful in person and assembling the first one was very easy, about 30/45 minutes with my cat jumping in it lol. Remember that when tightening you are only fixing the glass. so it shouldn't be white knuckled tight. At this point, listen for cracks and rubbing and STOP. Lateral glass cut-out for small hooks/cups. Do not tighten the case screws until the glass is in place - this is indicated in the instructions. But if you have trouble, try adjustingโ€ฆ

Glass cracked due to tension - Plexiglas added

Assembly wasn't easy! I mostly assembled it once, and then I saw that one of the bent parts was upside down. I could cry because collecting was such an ordeal the first time that I didn't want to do it a second time. The second time I collected it, I became wiser. I used wide tape to hold the elements in place while I adjusted them. It was still difficult, but it went faster the second time. I was so proud when it all came together! Then one of the curved pieces of glass broke - uh! I glued itโ€ฆ

Rough assembly: Side tables

Looks great. It's really hard to assemble - I'm not new to assembling and assembling and this thing caused me some inconvenience due to the poor quality control. Holes do not match. You don't just have to leave the screws loose. In order to manipulate the top to accommodate the curved panels, I had to unscrew half of the leg screws from the top ring to allow for more movement. The best way to keep it stable when all the screws are so loose is to put the board on two chairs and under the secondโ€ฆ
