My dogs deserve the best food

This particular brand of dog food is very popular and comes highly recommended. The prices may be a bit higher than other brands of dry dog food but the idea of buying a breed specific food for my Shih Tzu is a reasonable one given the extra cost. I have an older Shih Tzu who is missing a few teeth and is very picky and loves this food. I only feed my dogs dry food and they are very happy and healthy. For my German Shepherd, I sometimes switch to another high-end dog food, again made…

Our Shih Tzu loves this food.

We don't just buy this dog food for what it contains, we buy it for what it doesn't contain. We have spent a lot of time researching dog food and have found that most of the best selling and cheapest dog foods contain undesirable ingredients that are not found in Royal Canin. We started our Shih Tzu from puppy size and worked him up to adult size at the right age. He liked puppy food and now he seems to like adult food too. It's a little more expensive than the best sellers, but at the end of…

Great food! best in food

Just noticed it has a small hole in the front but my dog loves it and I know it will last over a month as it weighs 15lbs. UPDATE * It took almost 2 months. This is one of the few foods that doesn't cause him loose stools. His stool was perfect every time Tim fed it to him! I only give him a cup and a half due to his weight and he loves it. The food I used to give him always gave him diarrhea but that seems to have helped and his fur has grown a lot too! On the other hand, he is shitsu and…

Expensive but excellent quality

We have a cross between a Shih Tzu and a Bichon Frize (Chichon or Zuchon). He loves this food. We tried different dry foods for him and finally decided on this one. It's expensive but you can see the quality when you look at the pellets and the packaging. We have not noticed any weight problems with this food either. We first tried Royal Canin Bichon Frize for our dog but found that it had corn as the main ingredient. But this meal uses chicken and rice as the main ingredient, so we'll keep…

My dog really eats it!

I have been buying dog food for my Shih Tzu Lola for years and for years she has refused to eat anything other than homemade dog food (chicken or beef). When I offer her kibble, she looks at me and just walks away with an attitude. Then a friend recommended Royal Canin to me. I ordered it from Revane and poured it for Lola. I expected her to sniff the food, glare at me, and prance away. But no, she didn't even look at me! She swallowed just one bite and licked the bowl clean. Then she looked at

Product differs from what I bought from Petco

After buying dozens of dog foods for my 1 year old Shih Tzu I tried a 5 lb bag of this food from Petco and it was my first Times she ate all the food. every time I feed them. She was happy when I filled her bowl. I saw it was cheaper at Revain than Petco so I bought a £10 bag. Since I first filled her bowl with Revain, she's left it out all day and only eats at the end of the day when she's really hungry. I thought she was being fussy again but decided to try the new Petco pouch and now she…

Being prime minister is the best! If you haven't joined

Arrived quickly and fresh. I subscribe to save money and make sure I remember to place an order. We're all so busy these days. Being prime minister is the best! If you haven't joined yet, you must do so. You will not regret it. By the way, my dogs love this food. I gave them purine because the breeder advised me not to change the diet, but over time they get digestive problems. Her guts were too hard. They were still gaseous. So I started buying probiotics and all sorts of other supplements…

Who said you can't teach an old dog new tricks!

Daddy is almost 13 years old and has never been interested in dog food as he thinks he is human. A bowl of dry food (the best brand recommended by his vet). His allergies were getting really bad, so I looked for something else. Even if he doesn't eat much, at least his allergies will go down. So I mixed it with his old food to wean him. It took him a few days to get to his bowl, but slowly he started eating it almost every day. When his old food was finally gone, he started eating more and more
