love the size of these containers. I had one and the lid mysteriously disappeared, so this time I bought three packs. This is a great size for a bunch of cookies, muffins, baking mix and whatever. I love that the lids don't crack or chip like some of the cheaper brands.

Product label and barcode label are difficult to remove. It takes less than 15 minutes to remove 6 labels from 3 containers. Rubbermaid's quality control is poor. Non-permanent labels use the wrong type of adhesive, which hardens and prevents easy removal.

I like that they are big and can hold a lot of food. I bought one at the supermarket and liked it so much I bought three more from Revain. This way I can send food home with other family members without having to wait to get it back. They're great for when I have to tidy up in the garden after a picnic.

I use these containers for storing flour, sugar and cornmeal because I buy them in the wholesale department. Initially we used them to keep pests out of the flour because the bugs could chew through the plastic or paper wrappers the flour was in. They are excellent at keeping pests out and look great in my pantry.

I have six of these containers and find them essential for storing leftovers as well as grocery shopping (like rice, oatmeal, flour). I also have several Rubbermaid 7-cup containers that I use just as often. They are durable and have an airtight seal. I've had a couple of these for over a year and they still work. They don't warp in the microwave but I hand wash them so I can't comment on how well they hold up in the dishwasher. without coloring.

This works very well, but I don't trust the hole at the top anymore. During use, so hot steam collects in the canister that it slowly melts the transparent plastic. I don't know if there is leaching or not. However, I use them all the time, even in the microwave. I only partially remove the tops instead of using the hole in the top. The pressure does not increase and therefore the plastic does not melt and does not get into the food. I use them in the fridge for groceries and to keep dog food…
