I have to admit I had a few concerns before purchasing. Lids are only pressed against the container from two sides. I was hoping the other sides wouldn't leak. And I was concerned about washing the lids in the dishwasher. I had no problems with them at all! No leaking or warping of the lids from washing in a hot dishwasher. Tomato (chili) based products won't even stain your eyelids red. If I needed more of these I would definitely buy them again.

These glass containers are definitely exceptional. We use them every day straight from the fridge to the microwave with no problems. I really like the quality of the glass storage containers, but the lids (plastic with a rubber seal) do not sit on the glass, but sink into the glass when the containers are closed. I find the lids to be a little tricky to clean as you have to lift the gasket so you can slide your fingers underneath to clean. I recommend containers with a little care in cleaning…

We took these out of the box. When we used them. One set was NOT EASY to break apart and the other left tiny shards of glass on our counter. Get a set of 4 - with all four containers, one of the lids on one side does not close tightly. Two of the containers will work with a different lid, the others will not - and unfortunately they are all identical so I can't tell which are which. Also, the instructions state that they cannot be used in a toaster oven. If I had seen that before I bought them, I wouldn't have bought them. What's up with the toaster?
