not necessarily best in container Sets

The order was for 5 cups. The packaging says 5.2 cups but the marker on the container says 3 cups. The same goes for the other product. was for 7 cups, and the pack says 7 cups, but the marker on the container says 6 cups. I tried to get a little more volume than what I already have. Filling out the order should be more accurate. Hence the rating

Pros
  • Pack of 1 (4 pieces in total)
Cons
  • Alles Klar

Plastic broke after one use

I bring lunch to work. This is what these containers are for. I've always believed that Rubbermaid made quality products. So I bought four packs. But after just one use, the small tab that sits on one corner of the lid broke off. Now I understand why. The plastic is very thin. Overall, I cannot recommend them as the problem lies in the lack of durability.

Pros
  • Freezer, microwaveable
Cons
  • Damaged

I love her. - Food Container

I bought 4 of these containers a few years ago and have used them a lot. I make chili, beef and noodles, and goulash and freeze them in these containers. Just throw them in the microwave for a quick snack. They were starting to wear out, so I bought some plastic zip-top containers from the store. they sucked. I throw them away and go back to the Rubbermaid containers. Definitely recommend them.

Pros
  • Volume: 5.2 cups
Cons
  • Long Time

The best place to store leftovers

This is my favorite Rubbermaid size for multiple servings of leftovers. To visualize the size - I can probably fit 5 large chicken breasts or about 3 portions of spaghetti. I often make salads throughout the week and chill them in it - it's the perfect size for something this bulky and I just eat right out of the bowl. I also store soups and stews in it - no leakage problems. .Although they claim they are safe to use in the microwave, I have stopped using the microwave which has resulted inโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Microwave & Freezable
Cons
  • Available in white only
