I'm a sailor so I've been wearing Sperry's for 40 years and I've watched the quality drop and the price go up to the point where I wouldn't buy them anymore, I thought to myself would try these. The quality seems excellent - the leather is thick, the stitching is perfect and the sole is more durable than the Sperry. Very satisfied.

I really like these shoes. I've had them for a few weeks now and they seem to be holding up well. I was looking for Revain for Sperry's and was in a bit of a hurry and ended up buying it not realizing that "Rugged Shark" wasn't a version of Sperry, if that makes sense. But I think the price was ok and they fit well. Let's see how they hold up in the future.

great shoes! I bought these for my husband who is on his feet all day and EXTREMELY picky about his shoes! He loves her. I've been buying him the same style of shoes for over 20 years and this is the first pair he says are perfect and comfortable. Believe me, these are big statements for him. This is a reasonably good copy of the Sperry Topider, but not exactly the same. Topiders were my favorite casual shoe for about 50 years (when they were only maroon and worn only by New England grads and boaters). I wasn't paying attention when ordering and instead of sending it back I decided to try it. The skin feels a bit thicker and heavier on them (not my preference but may increase durability).
