I had a hard time finding fall hiking boots for my 2 year old who has small feet when I can wear these boots. The nice thing about them is that they are easy to put on thanks to the zipper on the side and the drawstrings on the front. This will help your little one not feel like the boots are too tight when putting them on. Tread grip is good and although we don't hike in very bad weather the boots seem to be quite water resistant, we didn't have wet socks. Oh, and they look really cute too!

When you first open the box the boots look exactly like the picture. But once you open the packaging and pull out the real boots, it's difficult to focus on anything other than the adhesive that sticks across the shoe line and around the entire perimeter of the boot. They are big. I've seen very little feedback on sizing. My son is a size 6 toddler on a physical shoe measurer. I ordered 6.5 so he can wear it for a while and benefit from it. The general consensus is that size is true to size. Em no. There is more than an inch between his big toe and the tip of his boot. Half sizes don't add an inch to the size, meaning they are far from true to size. Judging by the size we received I would say I could order a size 5 or 5.5 and they would fit me. The material
