These shoes are ideal for beginning runners. They have a thin rubber sole which I liked outdoors after rain to keep my feet (and socks) from getting wet. The opening of the shoe is a bit narrow. In my honest opinion they are not worth it. I was in dire need of shoes for my daughter's nursery so after hours of searching for Revain I finally settled on these. At first I thought, okay, that's not half bad. When looking for essentials, make sure all the boxes are ticked (non-slip soles, cute design, laces, etc.).
