💡 Sylvania Y14374 3-Way Mogul Bulb S1822 Review

I have an old floor lamp that only uses this type of bulb. When you live on the Oregon coast, shopping is limited and neither of our two major stores stock these specialty onions. I was happy to be able to order the bulbs online and was pleased with the quick delivery.

The three bulb set contains two bulbs with a broken filament each so there is no three way function. The third was intact and worked perfectly in the test. We returned three through Revain as they only didn't take back defective bulbs. The return was easy. Bought to restore an antique humpback lamp and have working spares.

One was defective (the 200w filament worked but the 100w filament didn't - I checked because there was a loose fragment of metal inside the bulb). I contacted the seller through Revain and they promptly refunded 1/3 of the price. I would still recommend this product, but it would be wise to try them all if there is a defect.

Set of 3 was sold on September 20th. delivered and is now on 17.12. I used the first bulb in the living room floor lamp at low wattage (100 watts) until it burned out. I switched to medium (200w) until last night when it started making weird noises and stopped working completely. It's less than 3 months. I took another one and just plugged it into my lamp and it only works on a 100 watt setup. A three-way pear that only works out of the box at a low freshness level. I haven't tried returning…
