I love the small size of these sanding boards because they don't pinch babies/toddlers' tiny hands like large boards do. The grain also looks finer, more suitable for toddlers' thinner, softer nails.

Friends suggested children's sanding boards instead of children's cars because it was easier. Sawing back and forth seems harder to me than aligning the scissors and cutting once. But there's nothing wrong with them and they do what they have to do.

What can I say about that that hasn't already been said? This is a nail file, apply it to nails that need a file and voila, shorter and smoother nails. I bought these to keep my newborn's nails short enough so I can go without actual nail clippers for as long as possible. So far, so good.

I was hoping that they would be suitable for children's nails, but they are too small and not strong enough. I understand not wanting anything too hard on soft baby nails, but it made things difficult. I ended up using a soft adult nail file, which worked better.

. They did a good job but it was hard just hitting the nail and dodging my poor kid's real fingers. So if you really just need to create a quick file, they're probably fine.

These are just tiny sandpapers, no different from adults, just smaller. The problem is actually newborns don't have hard nails yet so they're almost useless, your best bet is to get a pair of scissors with a magnifying glass attached for precise and safe cuts.
