This is my third case for my new Note 9. The first was a Samsung case with a built in stand. I liked this one, except for two things: the inner front cone was sticky and attracted dust, hair, and particles, which then touched the screen when the case was closed. The LED portion of the case is well designed and works. Wireless charging also works. The cover protects the screen, except it doesn't stay closed unless the phone is resting on its back. They had to put a magnet on the edge of the case to keep the lid closed. If you drop this and expect the cover to protect it, chances are the weight of the cover will open it and leave the screen unprotected when it hits the ground.

Since this case doesn't offer drop protection, I bought it exclusively for the credit card holder. I lost my drivers and 2 credit cards in 2 weeks. save your money No screen protection. Virtually no fall protection. And the credit card/licence holder is a joke.

This would be the perfect wallet if they made the lid magnetic (or at least Velcro?). Instead you have a very cool case that doesn't stay closed unless it's lying flat or in a pocket. My guess is that the LED/NFC electronics prevented them from turning the magnet on, but they could have at least velcroed it. When you put it in the wireless charging stand, the stupid cover hangs open, making it useless as a watch as the LED doesn't work and you can't see the phone's true colors. Very stupid…

This is the first "Flip" case I have ever received. I will say that the inside pocket was very handy for storing my MetroCard and gave me quick access when getting on and off the stations. The microfiber lining does a great job of protecting the screen from fingerprints. But there are also a few downsides. While it's fun to show notifications on the cover itself, I've found that the notification animation repeats itself several times when you want to focus on work or other things. It's annoying

My unprotected Note 9 is very slippery and slips out of my pocket too often when I sit down. I figured a case with a rougher finish would solve the problem. I looked through several case reports online and fortunately came across this case. It's not bulky and I like the lid that folds over the screen to protect it (don't use those clear screen protectors). This case wasn't worth the money when it came out but prices are falling with the next generation phones. I needed a new case that will cover the screen while I'm at work so notifications don't show to the world. In this case, a very good option. Any other options that come with it should be considered optional. If you're looking for working LED notifications that blink and tell the time throughout the day, look elsewhere.
