Not sure why the OEM power cord failed. I'm tired of all the troubleshooting options I can think of. The TV worked for a minute and then when I moved it to a new location it wouldn't turn on. I was thinking of trying a new power cord. As a last resort, I decided to try a new power cord. That was the problem. The new cable worked, I liked the charm, the TV is saved!
