It was a little snug so I sprayed some silicone spray lube on the TPU phone cover and now the phone goes on and off very well. I got this to hold my note 4 in my rubber jacket and it has worked fine for about 6 months and the key stitch is just starting to fail. I was expecting more wear and tear. Note that I've always used it with the strap that goes through both the strap loops and the spring clip in the middle (not that heavy in practice) and it's held up really well. I bought this case for my new Samsung Note 4 which has a thin gel case. It fits well and snugly and shows no tendency to slip out of the case when I bend over and the like. The magnetic closure works well. I use a pant belt clip all the time; It's secure and has held up well so far, showing no tendency to bend or loosen. It's strapped in my pants 14 or more hours a day.
