Short answer: memory cards

I bought these for my new DSLR. Most of the time it works fine but sometimes it reads an error that the image is not showing. Turn the camera off/on and the image will appear. Pretty sure it's a map; nothing about it on any website about my male/model cam.

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • So far so good

Technology is sometimes really expensive.

Revain cards are always hard to find. This one is no exception! These are faster cards, so they cost more money. However, technology sometimes comes at a price.

Pros
  • Lasting test results
Cons
  • Available in white only

Quick and big update

We mainly shot in CF on the Nikon D800 and simply switched to SanDisk as the main device for video. Combined with my card reader the loading times are amazing and very fast compared to a CF viewing images.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Small things

Fast and reliable if your device supports it!

I've been using SanDisk cards for years and they've never let me down. This latest design (UHS-II) works fast! It's backwards compatible, but to connect to your computer, however, make sure your camera or main device is UHS-II compatible, otherwise don't spend the extra money for UHS-II. I have several of these and they work great and very fast on my Fujifilm X-T2.

Pros
  • Handy thing
Cons
  • Hard to remember but it was

Fast and reliable for aiming and shooting

I used an old SD card with a write speed of 90MB/s, not 300MB/s like this one. I've been constantly waiting for burst photos and videos to be written to an old SD card. After updating to this new one, not having to wait those few agonizing seconds between pictures was quite magical. If you're on the doorstep and find yourself in the same situation as me, I highly recommend you take the plunge! For reference, I'm using the Canon G7 X Mark II (what's the full model name) for point and shoot.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Can't remember

Super fast on computers and accessories

Very fast writing speed on memory cards. I've used this on my Canon 5D III and it's amazing how fast it records and plays back. They're still a bit pricey, but 300MB is worth the price.

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • New competitors have appeared

Beware of the map. - Memory cards

I received the card yesterday and immediately subjected it to the CrystalDiskMark test. The results were very disappointing. I got about 19.5 MB/s read (19.5, 19.51, 7,14,5,99) and 18 MB/s write (18.46, 20.01, 2.15, 1.97) receive. The speed standard of this card is the speed of the most ordinary SD card! nothing "extreme" at all. One reason that comes to mind is that the card is UHS-II and not UHS-I. UHS-II has 2 rows of pins while UHS-I has only 1 row of pins. When UHS-II is inserted into a…
