Meets expectations for CompactFlash cards

Product arrived on time and met expectations. I've been using the same memory card for years and it's perfect for digital photography.

  • Free for educational use
Cons

Serves a purpose.

Purchased for digital multitrack recorder. It has been listed as compatible by the device manufacturer and looks like a high quality CF card. It was shipped from China (!?).

Pros
  • High test results for hold and durability
Cons
  • Disappear

If anyone cares, I used this to update.

In case anyone is interested, I used it to upgrade a Cisco ASA from 128MB to 2GB. No questions. I just pulled out an old CD and copied the files onto it. Don't forget to copy hidden files. andy

Pros
  • Several competitors
Cons
  • unreliable

Seems to be doing what it's supposed to do, but I've had intermittent issues with memory card errors on my Fostex Mr-8. The card seems to fail when I record at medium to high volume. Strange, but other than that it works fine.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Does not work on an AMPS computer.

I needed this to download plans to my system at work but it couldn't see the map. After a bit of troubleshooting, I believe this was because the device type was labeled as local disk and not removable media. I couldn't figure out how to change this so I ordered a Transcend card and it works great.

Works perfectly in Computers and Accessories

This 2GB CF card works great with my Cisco 1841 lab router. It came preformatted to FAT16 so I just popped it into the router's CF slot plugged in without deleting them and without formatting them. It's literally plug-n-play! Also a small pleasant surprise - the router boots much faster than an OEM 64MB CF inserted into another identical 1841. I swapped two CF cards and the results were the same. I'll buy another one! Router#show flash: filesys******** ATA Flash Card Geometry/Format Info…
